Aurelie, played by Kira McLean, is the protagonist of this comedy film about a 13-year-old girl's struggles to fit in at her new school after getting a disastrous haircut. As she navigates bullies and unpopularity, Aurelie finds an unexpected way to defend herself and ultimately wins a poetry contest. Alongside her family, including parents Patricia Arquette as Jeanne and Rainn Wilson as Jim, who grapples with his own identity crisis.
