The Wild and the Free

Two scientists involved in chimpanzee research -- Dr. Raif (Granville Van Dusen) and Linda Davenport (Linda Gray) -- join forces when they learn that the government plans to cut off the language grant and use the chimps for radiation research. A wildlife poacher's illegal activities threaten both researchers and their chimpanzee groups, leading to an unlikely alliance between the domesticated and wild chimps.
