College Road Trip

When an overachieving high school student decides to travel around the country to choose the perfect college, her overprotective cop father also decides to accompany her in order to keep her on the straight and narrow. Chief James Porter (Martin Lawrence) accompanies his daughter Melanie (Raven-Symoné) on a road trip to different universities, including a visit to Northwestern University, where they meet an overly optimistic father-daughter duo, Doug and Wendy, who offer them help when their car breaks down. Along the way, Melanie's parents' differences are revealed, leading to a heart-to-heart between James and his daughter, ultimately allowing her to pursue her dreams at Georgetown University.
