Jõulud Vigalas

In the turbulent Christmas of 1905, a manor house in Vigala lies in ruins, its occupants fleeing the aftermath of a peasant revolt that has left only smoke and ash in its wake. Amidst this chaos, Bernhard Laipmann, a tenant farmer, is faced with an impossible choice: leave his home to escape the authorities or stay and risk being drawn into the revolution's violent tide. As he weighs his options, Laipmann finds himself torn between the desire for freedom and equality that inspires him, and the fear of the unknown consequences that looms ahead.
