A brutal, grindhouse-inspired horror film that proves the genre is not dependent on remakes and sequels alone, this 2025 American slasher film follows Macy, a young woman who fights for survival in the mountains of Tennessee after being abducted by a monstrous figure intent on raising her as its child. With a gritty, intense vibe reminiscent of Tobe Hooper's classics, Dolly delivers unapologetic terror and excessive gore, making it an unapologetically brutal celebration of horror's most unhinged extremes.
