Super Happy Forever is a 2024 French-Japanese drama film about longtime friends Sano and Miyata visiting a resort hotel on the Izu Peninsula in Japan, where they reconnect with Nagi, who had been let down by her friend five years earlier. The two timelines are linked by various elements, including a red baseball cap, a Vietnamese chambermaid, and the song "Beyond the Sea". As Sano grieves his recent wife's death, Miyata tries to be supportive but ultimately leaves him due to strained behavior. Nagi plays a meaningful role in the story as she reunites with her past friends in 2018, before the events of the present day unfold.
