This documentary weaves together three powerful stories of self-empowerment and resistance, following Sal Bartolo Jr., who shares his experiences as a boxer and former drill sergeant; Naomi Yang, who discovers her own connection to boxing through trainer Sal Bartolo Jr.; and Mary Ellen Welch, a schoolteacher who led a courageous fight against airport expansion in the 1960s.
