Misa's Fugue

The film tells the true story of Holocaust survivor Frank Grunwald, born Miša Grünwald, who endured the atrocities of genocide through his love of art and music. The documentary depicts Grunwald's experiences from 1939 to 2010, including his youth amidst the artistic elite of early twentieth-century Prague, his internment and concentration camps, and his subsequent escape to London and later the United States. Frank Grunwald (Frank Grunwald) narrates his life story, sharing his love of art and music, as well as the relationship with artist Dina Babbit that spared him from the same fate as his brother John and mother.
