Ishaqzaade

In the heart of Uttar Pradesh's fictional town of Almor, two rival political families, the Chauhans and the Qureshis, are pitted against each other in a struggle for power. Against this backdrop of hostility, a Hindu man and a Muslim woman find themselves drawn to each other in a forbidden romance, their passion threatening to upend the deeply rooted religious and societal divides that have long separated them. Their love becomes a catalyst for change, but ultimately proves to be a tragic force that can never truly conquer the obstacles in its path.
