Charlie the Wonderdog

In this animated superhero comedy film, nine-year-old Danny teams up with his beloved family dog Charlie, who gets abducted by aliens and returns with superpowers, to thwart a plan by the neighbor's sinister cat Puddy to destroy humanity. After being abducted by aliens, Charlie is rejuvenated to his youth and gains superpowers, as well as the ability to speak, while Puddy discovers he too can speak and has powers of his own. As Charlie uses his powers for good, he becomes a superhero known as Wonderdog, but soon finds himself framed for an attempted theft and placed on trial for larceny.
