In "Äkta skräck", two female best friends hosting an online horror-themed history show find themselves inexplicably terrorized by malevolent supernatural forces while investigating a 17th century witch hunt site. This found footage horror film uses the absurd premise to its advantage, balancing ridiculousness with effective plot execution and solid visuals. A Swedish production with a promising cast, this movie delivers on its promise of unsettling terror.
