The Wild Pair

Detective Sgt. Ben “Benny” Avalon (Bubba Smith) and FBI Special Agent Joe Jennings (Beau Bridges) team up to track down a drug lord associated with a militant hate group. They are paired by Avalon's Captain Kramer (Gary Lockwood) as reluctant partners in order to infiltrate the criminal organization, with Avalon and Jennings slowly building a rapport while foiling a chance robbery attempt at a supermarket. As they delve deeper into the case, it is revealed that the drug lord's organization is linked to The Sentinel, a white supremacist militia under the leadership of Col. Heser (Lloyd Bridges).
