Compliance

Based on true events, "Compliance" is a psychological thriller that delves into the darker aspects of human nature, as a suburban Ohio fast food restaurant manager becomes embroiled in a twisted phone call scam orchestrated by a caller claiming to be a police officer. As she and others at the restaurant are coerced into carrying out increasingly invasive and degrading procedures on an innocent employee, the film builds towards a shocking and disturbing climax that exposes the fragility of obedience and the dangers of unchecked authority.
