In 2011, Grace Pine moves to Montreal to write a book about Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill, and instead becomes romantically involved with two members of indie rock band Bone Patrol, taking a job as their publicist after meeting Chevy Olsen, the lead singer who calls her "a cum dumpster".
