Compulsion

Compulsion is a 1959 American crime drama film directed by Richard Fleischer and based on Meyer Levin's novel about two wealthy, young men who attempt to commit the perfect crime. Orson Welles plays Jonathan Wilk, their defense attorney. The film follows Artie Straus (Bradford Dillman) and Judd Steiner (Dean Stockwell), two graduate law students who believe they are above the law due to their supposed superiority, but their plan is crushed when one of them leaves his glasses at the crime scene.
