Everybody to Kenmure Street

The documentary film "Everybody to Kenmure Street" (2026) chronicles the community resistance to a 2021 Home Office immigration raid in Glasgow's Pollokshields neighbourhood, where hundreds of residents, including Emma Thompson as "Van Man", prevented the detention of individuals by surrounding the van. The film features dramatised scenes and crowd-sourced footage, presenting a chronological account of the protest, which won the Special Jury Award for Civil Resistance at its premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
