Derman

In the 1983 drama "Derman," a pregnant midwife, Mürvet (Hülya Koçyiğit), is stranded in an isolated Anatolian village during a snowstorm and must spend four months there. She tends to sick children and delivers babies, forming a connection with the local doctor, Şehmuz (Tarık Akan). As she navigates her new life in the rural community, Mürvet faces challenges and learns about the harsh realities of life in the countryside.
