The Stunt Man

A fugitive stumbles onto a movie set just when they need a new stunt man, taking the job as a way to hide out and falls for the leading lady while facing off with his manipulative director. The line between illusion and reality is blurred as scenes from the inner movie cut seamlessly to "real life," leaving the protagonist questioning everything he sees and hears. As the tension builds, Cameron becomes entangled in a web of deceit and danger on the set of a World War I movie, where the charismatic director will do anything for the sake of his art.
