"Saturday Night Fever" is a drama/musical detailing events in Brooklyn where John Travolta's Tony Manero, a young Italian-American man, spends his weekends dancing and drinking at a local disco while dealing with social tensions and disillusionment in his working class ethnic neighborhood. He is a champion dancer who receives admiration as king of the dance floor at 2001 Odyssey, a local discotheque. As Tony navigates his relationships with his friends, girlfriend Donna Pescow's character, and new partner Stephanie Mangano (played by Karen Lynn Gorney), he must confront issues of identity, loyalty, and morality in his community.
