Syd (Radha Mitchell) is a young editor at Frame magazine, while her neighbor Lucy Berliner (Ally Sheedy), a renowned photographer, lives with her girlfriend Greta and plays host to a collection of hard-living party kids. As Syd becomes drawn into Lucy's life, they start a collaboration that blurs the lines between love and professionalism. The film explores their working relationship, personal desires, and the darker truths of Lucy's life on the edge as Syd confronts her own hunger for recognition.
