In "Personhood" (2025), Elliot Harris stars as Waylen, a lonely man who purchases a companion robot to escape his isolation. As he spends more time with Gala (Agathe Levi), a robot designed to provide comfort and love, he faces insecurities and a jealous brother that threaten his chances of finding human connection. Through the story of Waylen and Gala's unlikely relationship, writer-director Richard Jordan explores themes of artificial intelligence, love, and what it means to be human.
