Ankara Ekspresi

In 1970, director Muzaffer Arlan brought to life the gripping tale of "Ankara Ekspresi," a film that masterfully weaves together genres of adventure, drama, romance, and war. Based on Esat Mahmut Karakurt's book of the same name, the film tells the story of a perilous operation codenamed Ankara Express, in which German spy Hilda finds herself entangled in a dangerous relationship with Turkish major Seyfi. Starring Ediz Hun and Filiz Akın, "Ankara Ekspresi" was a critical success, taking home five Golden Orange awards for its excellence in filmmaking, including best film, director, actress, screenplay, and cinematography.
