After a serious swimming pool accident, Ben (Pablo Pauly), now an incomplete quadriplegic, arrives in a rehabilitation center where he meets other disabled individuals who are also struggling to come to terms with their new realities. As they navigate the challenges of daily life, some slowly regain mobility while others face the reality of their disabilities for life. Despite the difficulties, hope and friendship help them endure their struggles. The film is based on a memoir or autobiography.
