Josh and S.A.M.

Two young brothers, Joshua "Josh" Whitney (Jacob Tierney) and Samuel "Sam" Whitney (Noah Fleiss), run away from home due to emotional conflict over their parents' divorce. They embark on a cross-country journey, with Josh telling Sam he's a genetically designed child warrior known as an S.A.M., intended for combat in Africa. Along the way, they encounter various people, including Allison "The Liberty Maid" (Martha Plimpton), and face numerous challenges as they try to reach Canada, which Josh claims is their safe haven.
