In 1961, Rydell High School's social scene is abuzz as new students join the T-Birds and Pink Ladies cliques. Michael Carrington (Maxwell Caulfield), a clean-cut British student, befriends Stephanie Zinone (Michelle Pfeiffer), the leader of the Pink Ladies. As they navigate their blossoming romance, Michael must balance his new identity with his academic struggles and outdo Johnny Nogerelli (Adrian Zmed), the arrogant T-Bird leader. A motorcycle accident and a mysterious "Cool Rider" add to the drama as Stephanie's relationships are put to the test at the school talent show.
