In a surreal and satirical take on high fashion, a group of shoplifters from San Francisco's Metro Designers stores band together to steal designer clothes at a lower price – a bold move that could change the game for both them and the struggling workers in the factory where the garments are made. By deconstructing the clothes with the help of mysterious devices, they expose the true cost of fashion and challenge the status quo. The Velvet Gang's "fashion-forward philanthropy" sparks a global movement for social and economic fairness, as well as personal ethics and human rights.
