Tiger in the Smoke

A young officer is killed during a raid on a German general's house in wartime; years later, his former comrades, now street musicians living in a cellar, kidnap a British officer who bears a resemblance to their late sergeant and believe he knows the location of hidden treasure; the last surviving gang member, obsessed with finding the treasure, escapes from prison and leads them on a killing spree through France.
