Xun qiang

Ma Shan (Jiang Wen), a small-town policeman, wakes up after a drunken night at his sister's wedding banquet to find his issued gun missing. He searches for it around town, questioning his sister and brother-in-law, as well as two ex-comrades. Ma eventually tracks down the killer who murdered his former lover, Li Xiaomeng (Ning Jing), in Zhou Xiaogang's (Shi Liang) home, where Zhou runs an underground factory producing counterfeit wine.
