Potopa

In communist Czechoslovakia in 1980, 15-year-old Mara (Sara Chripáková) dreams of leaving her village to study in the city and become a pilot, but her father's insistence she stay and work the land puts their generational conflict to the test as their village faces destruction due to a new dam. The struggle between tradition, identity, and freedom comes to a head in a context of historical change.
