Amélie

Amélie Poulain (Audrey Tautou) is born in 1974 and brought up by eccentric parents who homeschool her due to a heart defect diagnosis. To cope with loneliness, Amélie develops an active imagination, leading her to find contentment in simple pleasures like skipping stones along the Canal Saint-Martin. When she discovers childhood memorabilia hidden by a boy who lived in her apartment decades earlier, she resolves to track him down and return it to him. This journey inspires Amélie to bring happiness to others, and she begins secretly executing complex schemes that positively affect those around her.
