Newborn

After serving seven years in solitary confinement, Chris Newborn (David Oyelowo) seeks to rebuild his life and reconnect with his family only to find that freedom has become a terrifying psychological battleground. As he struggles to cope with the long-term consequences of isolation, Chris's fragile hold on reality is tested by hallucinations and unresolved issues of trauma. His wife Tara Benton (Olivia Washington) tries to support him through this challenging period, while Keith Newborn (Jimmie Fails), his estranged son, becomes a source of concern.
