In this poignant and nuanced drama, Robert Carlyle stars as Lachlan MacAldonich, a former Britpop rocker struggling to find his place in life after 12 years of living in Los Angeles. After a night of heavy drinking lands him behind bars, Lachlan must confront the demons of his past and face deportation back to Scotland, forcing him to reconnect with old relationships and re-evaluate what truly matters. With its thoughtful exploration of immigration, addiction, and personal redemption, "California Solo" is a stunning performance from Carlyle that will leave you moved and invested in this troubled character's journey.
