In "Nude" (2017), photographer David Bellemere chronicles his creative process as he's commissioned to shoot a fine art calendar of nude photographs for NU Muses founder Steve Shaw's Pirelli Calendar-inspired project. The film delves into the world of nude photography, exploring perceptions of body image and the modern social media age, through the lens of working professional models who pose in front of Bellemere's camera. Featuring an all-star lineup of international models, "Nude" offers a behind-the-scenes look at Shaw's ambitious project, which was inspired by the iconic Pirelli Calendars of the 1970s and took place in the Dominican Republic. The documentary film is both a celebration of creativity and self-expression, as well as a thought-provoking examination of our cultural attitudes towards nudity.
