Early Man

In 2 million BC, during the Neo-Pleistocene era, Dug, a young Stone Age caveman voiced by Eddie Redmayne, discovers the game of football while kicking around an asteroid after it collides with Earth near Manchester. The impact site has become a lush valley, inhabited by Dug's tribe, who are threatened by an army led by Lord Nooth, a Bronze Age governor. To save their home, Dug challenges Nooth's elite local team to a match, and with the help of Goona, a tomboyish vendor voiced by Maisie Williams, they prepare for the big game.
