Ramachandran "Ram" Krishnamoorthy (Vijay Sethupathi), a professional travel photographer, visits his former high school in Tanjavur and is overcome by nostalgia. Shortly after, he attends his class's WhatsApp group reunion gathering in Chennai, where he reunites with close friends, including Janaki "Jaanu" Devi Saravanan (Trisha Krishnan).
