Ramachandran "Ram" Krishnamoorthy (Vijay Sethupathi), a professional travel photographer, visits his former high school in Tanjavur and is overcome by nostalgia. Shortly after, he attends his class's WhatsApp group reunion gathering in Chennai, where he reunites with close friends, including Janaki "Jaanu" Devi Saravanan (Trisha Krishnan). The two were classmates in the tenth grade and had a deep romantic affection; their separation was due to financial difficulties. At the reunion, they reconnect and spend a night walking through Chennai, sharing emotions and reminiscing about their past.
