Tehran Taboo

In Tehran's strict society, sex and corruption coexist with religious law, forcing women like Pari to engage in prostitution to survive. She shares her struggles with Sara, who is pregnant and seeks work against her husband's wishes, while Babak, a musician, grapples with the consequences of his actions amidst Iran's double standards. Through rotoscoping animation, Tehran Taboo brings attention to the lives of these women, shedding light on the desperation that can fuel survival in this "taboo" world.
