God Grew Tired of Us: The Story of Lost Boys of Sudan

The film chronicles the journey of three Southern Sudanese men, John Bul Dau, Daniel Abul Pach and Panther Bior, as they strive for a brighter future in the United States after being resettled from Ethiopia's Kakuma refugee camp. As young boys, they walked a thousand miles to escape war-ridden Sudan, with thousands dying along the way. In 2001, they were invited by the US to start anew, but must now adapt to American culture while dedicating themselves to helping those left behind in Kakuma and discovering the fate of their parents and family.
