The Bachelors

J.K. Simmons plays Bill Palet, a widower who moves with his teenage son Wes across the country for a teaching job in southern California. There, they meet Carine Roussel (Julie Delpy), their new French teacher, and Lacy Westman (Odeya Rush), her student who is struggling with depression. With Carine's help, both Bill and Wes begin to confront their grief and start anew, eventually finding love again.
