Copycat

An agoraphobic psychologist and a female detective must work together to take down a serial killer who copies serial killers from the past. Dr. Helen Hudson (Sigourney Weaver) joins homicide detective M.J. Monahan (Holly Hunter) and her partner Ruben Goetz in investigating a series of murders inspired by notorious serial killers, including Albert DeSalvo, The Hillside Strangler, David Berkowitz, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Ted Bundy. As the copycat killer continues to evade capture, Helen realizes that he is drawing inspiration from her own expertise on serial killers, having narrowly escaped death at the hands of one earlier in her career.
