A Mosquito in the Ear

"A Mosquito in the Ear" is a heart-wrenching drama film about Andrew (Jake Lacy) and Daniela, an American couple who adopt a 4-year-old girl named Sarvari (Ruhi Pal) from an orphanage in Goa, India. As they attempt to bring Sarvari back to the US, the young girl's reluctance to leave her home and community causes chaos and profoundly reshapes the couple's understanding of family, parenthood, and their relationship. The film is based on the graphic novel "Una Zanzara nell'Orecchio" by Andrea Ferraris and marks Nicola Rinciari's directorial debut.
