Irumudi

Trinadh Rama Kasu, a plantain farmer and merchant, lives with his wife and school-going daughter Manikanta "Maniamma" in a rural village. He struggles with an alcohol addiction and tendency to use violence, but is devoted to his daughter and wants to protect her from harm. When Manikanta asks him to participate in the 41-day Ayyappa Deeksha spiritual vow, he agrees, and begins a journey of self-discovery and revenge against those responsible for the mysterious deaths of several schoolgirls, including his own daughter.
