A dying merman, Su-jin (Kim Pureum), asks his friend Mia (Yeon Ye-ji) to secretly hide his remains amongst the humans, particularly his daughter, who lives in the land of humans. As Su-jin navigates this perilous journey, he is pursued by a new civil servant recruit, fueled by curiosity and hatred. The film delves into themes of Korean reunification, as Su-jin's actions raise questions about the boundaries between human and merman worlds.
