L'Agnese va a morire

Agnese, a middle-aged woman from Comacchio, joins the Italian Resistance after her husband is deported to a concentration camp, where he dies. She becomes a bike courier, carrying food, information, and weapons to help her companions. After being killed by a German soldier who mistakenly thought she was dead, Agnese is avenged by breaking the soldier's head with the butt of a machine gun. The film follows Agnese's transformation into a partisan relay, carrying out housework and providing meals for partisans while hiding survivors from the Germans.
