Kysset

A 1913 Danish romance and drama, "The Kiss" (Kysset) follows Anton, a cavalry officer-in-training, as he helps Baron von Løvenskjold's car and becomes infatuated with the baron's daughter Edith, who has been injured in a riding accident and now uses a wheelchair. As Anton spends more time with Edith, he grapples with whether his feelings for her are genuine or rooted in pity, leading to a tangled web of promises, lies, and guilt. Lars Mikkelsen stars as Løvenskjold, Edith's father, who welcomes Anton into their lives with open arms.
