A family struggles to stay together when Süsen, the daughter of an already broken home, defies her kin to marry her childhood love Yusuf, but as their marriage fails to bring the dreamed-of salvation, they must confront mounting responsibilities and learn to adapt, or risk losing each other entirely, with Süsen (Nurgül Yeşilçay) and Yusuf (Mert Fırat) at the center.
