Aci Hayat

In the poignant drama "Aci Hayat" (Bitter Life), Türkan Şoray shines as Nermin, a manicurist torn between her love for a welder, Ayhan Işık's Mehmet, and the promise of a better life with a wealthy suitor, Ekrem Bora's Ender. As Nermin's choices lead to regret and heartache, the film offers a powerful exploration of the human cost of societal expectations and the enduring power of true love.
