Sisa

During the Philippine-American War, a madwoman wanders into a camp watchtower guarded by American sentry Smith, and is taken in by the camp's residents. Sisa, played by Hilda Koronel, is actually feigning insanity as part of her mission as a spy for the revolutionary forces led by her brother-in-law Artemio. As she acquaints herself with the camp's residents, including Delia, Leonor, and Nena, Sisa discovers that the adolescent Nena is concealing an affair with Smith, and that Delia's husband and children were killed by American soldiers. Sisa's mission is to infiltrate the camp and gather information to aid Artemio's troops in their planned attack, which ultimately leads to a tragic confrontation with the American forces.
