Crash

In post-Sept. 11 Los Angeles, tensions erupt when the lives of a Brentwood housewife, her district attorney husband, a Persian shopkeeper, two cops, a pair of carjackers and a Korean couple converge during a 36-hour period. These people, from differing ethnicities and social-economic levels 'crash' into each other in a dramatic exploration of racism and bigotry. The film follows the activities of a selection of people whose lives unexpectedly intertwine over a day and a night in the city, revealing the complexities and nuances of racial tensions in America's most diverse metropolis.
