Island of Greed

A gutsy police detective and his team of cops probe into the widespread illegal dealings of a criminal mastermind who schemes to redeem himself by running for government office in Taiwan. Andy Lau plays Captain Fong Gwok-Fai, a determined officer tasked with taking down the cunning Chow Chiu-sin (Tony Leung Ka-fai), a businessman and leader of the Chung-lam Triad who has bribed his way into office. As corruption and violence escalate, Fong must navigate a complex web of alliances, rivalries, and deceit to expose Chow's crimes and bring him to justice.
