The True Story of Jesse James

Robert Wagner as Jesse James and Jeffrey Hunter as his older brother Frank James drive their gang to rob a Minnesota bank after being harassed by Union sympathizers. The film's storyline is mostly told through flashbacks, detailing how the James brothers came to be outlaws. Hope Lange plays Zee James, Jesse's wife, while Agnes Moorehead portrays Mrs. Samuel, who witnessed the lawmen's attack on her house.
